Members of the Corporation
The Corporation of Tameside College is an independent legal body established under
the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 to direct and develop the College which
is part of the Further Education sector.
Under the Act, the College has charitable status and seeks to provide quality education
and training for all. Under the Articles of Government, the Corporation is responsible
for the educational character and mission of the College and for the oversight of
its activities.
