LLS Resources
The College has three Library and Learning Centres with over 50,000 books between
them. The books cover all curriculum areas within College as well as leisure interests
and general information such as telephone directories. Please ask staff if you have
problems locating information and books for your coursework or assignments, it will
save you time searching. A student access catalogue is available.
Video Facilites
Video recordings and viewing facilities are available in the LLCs. DVDs are displayed
alongside books covering the same subject. Subjects include Shakespeare plays, drama,
engineering, languages, sport, travel, and use of computer software.
IT Facilities
There are bookable networked PC's offering Microsoft - Word-Processing, Spreadsheets,
Database and Presentation packages. There is Open Internet access and the opportunity
to surf the college Intranet for information on all your assignment and course work.
The Library Information and Learning centres also house an expanding CD-ROM collection
including the major newspapers - Times, Guardian, Financial Times plus subject specific
titles including - Bodyworks, Encarta, Marketing Mix, New Scientist and Art Gallery.
