Tameside College student, Pawel Rudnicki recently launched his own business, Perpetual Systems Limited in Ashton-under-Lyne. Being at the forefront of new and emerging technology of smart home energy, the Perpetual smart home energy system offers energy control that can be managed and controlled via Wi-Fi inside and outside the home. Pawel’s technology enables the home owner to have greater and more accurate control over gas and electricity consumption to achieve significant energy saving. Pawel has ambitious plans for his company and intends to introduce his innovative smart home energy system to households in the North West.
At the same time, Pawel is undertaking a Bachelor Degree in Innovation in Management and Methodology of Business Development at Tameside College. Pawel, being a busy and devoted businessman, chose the WBIS route to Higher Education, namely the work-based integrated studies. With WBIS Pawel managed to adopt a fully flexible approach to Higher Education and also gain academic credit for his work experiences.
Pawel said: “The whole time, since I started my studies, I have received maximum support from my tutors. At any time, when I need help I can count on support from my tutors Tracey and Janet. I am currently working on developing and improving my business "Perpetual Systems Limited". Being self-employed and directing a powerful company was my small, secret dream, but I know that with the help received from my tutor and education obtained from Tameside College, anything is possible.
Pawel’s tutor, Tracey Minogue, said: “Pawel is a true entrepreneur who inspires everyone he meets! He is bringing his vision, commitment and drive to the programme and is using his learning and experiences as an entrepreneur to create his degree programme. Pawel exemplifies the kind of person that the WBIS programme is perfect for - self-motivated, aspirational and with a desire to succeed in his chosen career pathway.”
