All you need to do is:
Complete the application form
and return it to the Central Admissions Team at Tameside College. The full FREEPOST
address can be found at the end of the form. If you are a pupil currently attending a Tameside School, your careers teacher at school will advise you on the procedure for submitting your application.
When we receive your application, we will send you an acknowledgement letter.
You will be invited into College to discuss which course best matches your abilities and aspirations. Interviews are held in College and usually commence from November. Course offers are normally given at the interview and are subject
to certain conditions such as achievement of GCSE grades and attendance at a Taster
Day.
You will be asked to attend a Taster Day which will include activities based around
your choice of course. This will help you get a better understanding of the course
you have chosen to study.
When to Apply
Applications are accepted from mid-November onwards following the Open Evening.
As demand for places is high, you are advised to apply by March 1st 2010 to avoid disappointment.
We guarantee to reserve a provisional place at college for applications we receive before 1st March 2010. Enrolment onto this place will be subject to certain
conditions including attending an interview and Taster Day.
