It is an exciting time for Tameside College as they are soon to open the doors to their new Sports Academy, which is part of the VisionTameside redevelopment.
The new £1m Sports Academy will be located at Tameside College’s Beaufort Road site and will have state-of-the-art facilities including;
• A four-court sports hall
• Sports acoustic sound system
• 50+ exercise stations in the fitness suite
• 20 spinning bikes
• Unique SYNRGY 360 concept for strength and conditioning training
• World leading hammer strength plate-loaded equipment
• High spec separate male and female changing facilities
• On-site sports injury clinic
• Social drinks zone
Students studying a Sports learning programme will have access to the new Sports Academy. The young people of Tameside will be able to enjoy first class education alongside specialist sports training which will support their career.
Stunning artist’s impressions give prospective sports students and residents a first glimpse of how the state-of-the-art Sports Academy will look when it opens in October.
