When are course fees due?
If we confirm a course offer to you, we will require you to pay an advanced deposit
to Tameside College (We will advise you of this amount). Payments can be made through the Bankers
Automated Clearing System (BACS) or other methods agreeable to the Finance Office.
The balance of your annual course fee is required by a single payment when you enrol
on to the course in September. At the beginning of your second year [re-enrolment
September/October] the course fee is due in full.
Is the advance deposit/course fee refundable?
Where an International Student wishes to withdraw from a course admission on the
grounds that she/he is unable to secure a Study Visa/entry clearance from the Immigration
Authority to commence study at Tameside College, a full refund of fees will be made
after deducting an administration charge of £200. The request for a refund must
be made in writing to the International Student Admissions Officer, substantiated
with evidence that the Study Visa/entry clearance application has been refused by
the Immigration Authority and also submit a copy of the receipt as evidence of payment
of course fees.
If for any reason Tameside College has to cancel or discontinue a course for enrolment
a full refund of fees will be made. In these circumstances no deduction will be
made to cover administration or other costs incurred.
Payment of Course Tuition Fees
International student course tuition fees must be paid in full by enrolment/commencement
of each academic study year. International Students will not be allowed admission
to attend classes until fees have been paid in full to Tameside College. Tameside
College is unable to make a final confirmation course offer by letter to an International
Student, until the advanced deposit is remitted in full against the course tuition
fee for the first academic year.
