How to Apply (International Students)
If you are a national from a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) you
must apply for permission to enter the UK to study. Nationals from outside the EEA
who are resident in the EEA must still apply for permission to enter the UK.
The College will assess your eligibility to study on the course you are applying
for based on your existing qualifications. You will also be advised of the fees
for the course. The College requires an application fee to be paid with your application
and will require evidence of your ability to pay course fees before sponsoring your
entry to the UK. Course fees will be payable in full when you enrol on the course.
You will also need to apply to the UK Borders Agency using the electronic Sponsorship
Management System.
When you enrol on your programme of study, you must present your passport, ID card
and immigration status document. The College is required to keep copies of these
documents. If you have entered the country as a dependent of another, we must also
keep copies of their documents.
How do I apply for a full-time study course?
Completed applications are accepted from October and the closing date for receipt
of overseas applications is the 1st May.
As I live overseas I am unable to come for an interview, what happens?
For some courses your application can still be considered but you must include the
appropriate supporting information as indicated above to avoid delays in course
offers. The Course Admissions Tutor will consider all the information you provide
including both your actual qualification grades and predicted grades if you are
still studying, or waiting for confirmation of results. However, you should inform
the Tutor straight away if your results don’t match your expectations, as we may
need to change your level of study.
