£1500 Grants now Available
A new Government Apprenticeship grant of £1500 is payable in two instalments, for
up to 40,000 eligible employers who commit to employ one or more 16 – 24 year
old Apprentices for the first time. The payment is a grant and exempt from VAT.
All we ask you to do is recruit an Apprentice and support them throughout their
programme. We offer a full recruitment service free of charge.
To be eligible for this grant you must meet the following criteria:
- Commit to employ the Apprentice for at least the time it takes to achieve the
Apprenticeship.
- Agree to pay the Apprenticeship wage of £2.60 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours
per week.
- Confirm that you have not taken on an apprentice in the previous three years
- Priority will be given to small-medium sized employers with less than 250
employees.
