Auction for Lifeboats

Reflections Restaurant held a special night for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) where students organised and hosted an event raising as much money as possible for the worthy cause.

Catering and Hospitality students arranged a raffle and auction in the popular college restaurant, where they also served food to the attendees. The event was the second time students have hosted an event in honour of the RNLI, with this years event collecting a fantastic £535, £100 over last years total.

Food Studies tutor John Holden said, “The students had a great experience in organising and running this event and the organiser, Lesley Gilbert, said they were magnificent and the night was a roaring success.”
