Season’s Greetings Thu, 22 December 2011 Tameside College Graphic Design students were asked to produce college Christmas card designs this year. The card brief was to incorporate elements portraying the diversity of subject areas whilst maintaining a seasonal design. The designs were collected and shown to the College Principal Peter Ryder who selected his favourite design. The chosen design was produced by Lisa Tiplady. Lisa previously studied at Droylsden Academy and once completing her course is aiming to start her career in Graphic Design. Lisa said, “I liked working on the college Christmas card and it was great working from a live brief. I really enjoyed the challenge and it was really great to see my printed design”. The corporate card is now going to be proudly sent to college Governors, Business partners, High Schools and other educational institutions.
