Adult Learners’ Presentation Evening

The Courtyard Theatre was full to capacity when the College held its annual prize giving for the Adult Learners' Presentation at the Ashton Centre.

The event was to celebrate the efforts of those who had excelled in their studies after returning to education. Over 30 students were nominated by their tutors to receive awards presented to them by the Worshipful, The Civic Mayor of Tameside, Councillor Susan Quinn.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Jaynie Huxley Award presented to Graphic Design student, Lynn Hewitt who received the award for ‘Outstanding Adult Learner’ presented by Mark Huxley.

It was a very memorable evening for everyone and the event culminated with light refreshments prepared by the College’s Catering students in the college conservatory.
