National Apprenticeship Week Events

Tameside College Apprenticeship Department have arranged several events throughout National Apprenticeship Week, week commencing Monday 3rd March. There are a range of events for Employers and people looking to study an Apprenticeship.

The following are all events that are taking place throughout National Apprenticeship Week;
Monday 3rd – Friday 7th March
Information & Vacancies // 11:45am – 1:15pm // Tameside College Refectory
The Apprenticeship team will be on hand all week to provide information, advice and guidance to people looking to start an Apprenticeship. They will also have current vacancies advertised. Members of the public are welcome.
Monday 3rd March
Stockport Council Event // 12pm – 5pm // Stockport Town Hall
The College Apprenticeship team will be attending an information session aimed at year 10’s and 11’s from Schools in Stockport. School pupils will be taken to the event by school buses.
Employer Event // 2pm – 4pm // Tameside College
Local catering employers have been invited in to the College to sample food which will be prepared by catering apprentices. Visitors will also have the opportunity to look around College facilities.
Open Day for Butchery Apprenticeships // 2pm – 4pm // Tameside Centre for Enterprise
Tameside College are offering a new apprenticeship in Butchery at Tulip Ltd, if you are interested in a career in butchery then please contact our Apprenticeship Team for more information.
Tuesday 4th March
Information & Guidance // 9am – 11am // Droylsden Academy
Year 10 and 11 food studies students at Droylsden Academy will be given an information session about Apprenticeships within the Food industry.
Promotional & Information Stand // 9:30am – 1pm // Ashton Job Centre
There will be stand at Ashton Job Centre, where staff from the College Apprenticeship team will provide information about starting an apprenticeship to people seeking employment. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Employer Event // 6pm – 7:30pm // Tameside College
Local employers have been invited in to the College to engage in Beauty treatments provided by College students. Visitors will also have the opportunity to look around College facilities and talk to members of the Apprenticeship Team.
Thursday 6th March
Promotional & Information Stand // 9:30am – 12pm // Stalybridge Job Centre
There will be stand at Stalybridge Job Centre, where staff from the College Apprenticeship team will provide information about starting an apprenticeship to people seeking employment. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Friday 7th March
Promotional & Information Stand // 9:30am – 1pm // Hyde Job Centre
There will be stand at Hyde Job Centre, where staff from the College Apprenticeship team will provide information about starting an apprenticeship to people seeking employment. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Friday 7th – Sunday 9th March
Cake International // 10am – 5pm // Event City, Manchester
College staff will have a stand at the Cake International event at Event City in Manchester, where they will provide information regarding apprenticeships and full-time courses with the College. The event is open to the public.
