Graduates are told to: 'Go and make a difference'

Over 250 people attended Tameside College Higher Education Graduation ceremony at Dukinfield Town Hall on Thursday 4 February.  Friends and family witnessed the graduands receive their scrolls from Professor Phil Harris, University of Chester, in recognition of their achievements.

The packed hall listened to Professor Phil Harris, guest of honour, who told the graduates to: 'go and make a difference' in an ever changing economy. He used his speech to encourage innovation and for the graduates to 'build the next generation of services and businesses'.

Jackie Moores, Principal at Tameside College, congratulated the graduates on their success: 'This event is public recognition of your determination, enthusiasm and ambition. We have watched you grow and develop and are proud to help you progress. This is only the start of your journey as you never stop learning'.
