Travel and Tourism students from Tameside College visited Valencia to find out more about city break destinations.

The students spent two nights in Valencia to learn about the culture, tourist attractions and the types of visitors that Valencia would appeal to. Tameside College students toured Valencia’s old town, Mestalla, which is Valencia’s football stadium and they also visited Port Saplaya.

Travel and Tourism teacher, Rebecca Brown, accompanied the students on their trip and said: “The students had an excellent time in Valencia, many of them have said they would return. Travel and Tourism allows students to learn about the most popular destinations, and in order for the students to give customers the best advice they need to see the city for themselves. Students will continue to learn about other popular destinations throughout the rest of their studies.”
