College celebrates equality and diversity week Tue, 24 April 2018 Students and staff at Tameside College and Clarendon Sixth Form College are celebrating the college’s annual equality and diversity week with a range of exciting activities. Activities that will be taking place are as follows: Tameside College Tameside Safer Neighbourhoods stand Disability awareness obstacle course Black Health Agency stand Dovestones pop up shop Boccia session in the sports hall Sign language workshop Female football tournament Just a Ball Game? session LGBT OutLoud stand Female Zumba session Clarendon Sixth Form College ‘songs for suffragettes’ performed by performing arts students Student relaxation session ‘This Girl Can’ ambassadors session Hindu Garhba dance session Tameside Safer Neighbourhoods stand Black Health Agency stand Autism Awareness workshop LGBT OutLoud stand The event aims to promote equality and diversity across the college community whilst embracing British values such as: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
