Aspirations students are up to the challenge

Aspirations students from Tameside College visited Winmarleigh Hall Adventure Centre recently to experience a range of exciting outdoor activities.
15 students travelled to the centre, which is near to the Forest of Bowland and located in an old country house, for a three day trip.
They took part in a wide range of activities to test their teamwork and problem solving skills, including: zip wiring, rock climbing, raft building, blindfolded sensory challenges and orienteering.
Jonathan Mason, teacher in Aspirations at Tameside College, said: “This trip was a great way to end the academic year. The students faced challenges, pushed themselves to do astonishing things and encouraged each other along the way. They loved every minute as did the staff. Thank you to everyone that was a part of it.”
