A Level Fashion

Course Content

If you love sewing, embroidering, applique,fabric printing, patchwork, quilting and everything to do with fashion then this is the course for you. This course has creativity at its heart and you will be introduced to a range of different textile processes and techniques such as fabric painting (mono-printing and screen printing), tie-dying, spraying, transfer and fabric construction and stitching. You will be encouraged to be innovative in your designs and work with a wide range of materials. You will gain an awareness of the elements of textile design such as shape, colour, texture, pattern and harmony. One to one tutorials with your highly skilled tutors will ensure that your creative ideas are realised.

Entry Qualifications

Grade C or above GCSE in relevant Art subject. Satisfactory portfolio.


The qualifications provide knowledge and practical skills related to A Level Art and design fashion. On completion of these qualifications candidates may progress onto a university course depending on results.
