Course Content

For students seeking employment as a Body Repair specialist within the Motor Vehicle Industry. The course covers Repairing Body Panels, Fitting new panels, Welding and Fabrication and combines both theory and practical work. Students will also cover additional units in Basic Vehicle Electrics, Removing and Refitting Trim components and Functional Skills.

You have made a great choice.

Panel Beaters learn a vast range of skills including fabrication, welding and fitting. Here at the college you will work on a range of projects including from repairing car panels to rebuilding cars. More advanced projects include repairing accident damaged vehicles

using sophisticated measuring ‘jigging’ equipment.

The courses on offer here in the Motor Vehicle department will prepare you for the world of work and give you practical and academic knowledge to progress to industry.
