An Individual Learning Plan will be designed for your needs

Assigned a Personal Tutor and a Progress Tutor who specifically look after your pastoral and course requirements

Bespoke hair and beauty units will be put in place for shampooing, styling, hand care and skin care

Course includes practical activities, and project work, occasional industrial trips

There are several course opportunities during this programme. You have the opportunity to enter a range of regional and national competitions, such as Wella. During your time on this programme, you will also take part in external visits, such

as The Wella Studios in Manchester to observe celebrity hairdressers and take part in bespoke one day demonstrations on the latest trends and fashions in the industry.

Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy are exciting and challenging careers. The course will combine core skills such as communication and retail, as well as practical skills. The course will give you the knowledge and skills to progress on to a higher level hair or beauty programme.

Learners must have;

Successful interview with a Hairdressing/Beauty Therapy Tutor

A genuine interest in the subject

Good communication skills
