Level 3 Diploma in Fabrication & Welding C&G

The qualification comprises of both mandatory and optional units and will be assessed by observation, practical work and written questions. What you will learn:

● Engineering health and safety
● Engineering principles
● Principles of fabrication and welding
● MMA/TIG/MIG – (learner to choose 1 process)
● Sheetmetal work fabrication of materials
● Pattern development for fabrication
Day -release

Candidates will be expected to have completed a NVQ level 2 in engineering or be currently employed in an engineering discipline (initial assessment required)

A Bridging unit of Maths and Science at Level 3 in addition to completion of this course allows for HNC and HND ( level 4 & 5) progression in Engineering

£3345 (May qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan)

Course fees are per year.
If you are aged between 19-23 and you don’t have a qualification equivalent to 2 A-Levels, tuition fees will be waived. If aged 19 or over and do have a qualification equivalent to 2 A-Levels at the start of the course you may be able to apply for an Advanced Learning loan.
