It is estimated that by the time you complete your studies at college, the UK will be on the brink of a massive skills shortage for people with computing and digital skills. As such you will be in the ideal position to access higher education and new career pathways with a high demand. There was never a better time to get into computing!
Students will have access to a fully equipped suite of high specification computers with the latest IT equipment and up to date Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) - LearningBox.
The majority of assessment is by course work based on practical and written assignments which require application of knowledge to practical real-world case studies.

If you do not have these qualifications, but do have considerable work related experience in the area you may still be eligible.
The normal progression route for this course is onto a higher education programme such as our HND in Computing or a first degree at university. Our tutors will be working with you to support and advise on the best pathways to follow based on your personal goals.
On successful completion of the course you will have various opportunities in the area of computing including Computer Programming, Systems Analysis, and Design and Management. In addition to specialist careers, there is a wide range of opportunities in business where in-depth knowledge of computer systems is a valuable asset.
