Funding Key

The key below explains the symbols that appear on our course listings. If you have any questions about funding, please contact our student services team.

Level 1 Entry or Level 1
If you don’t already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, and you need to study at Entry or Level 1 to progress to Level 2, tuition fees will be waived (Registration Fees will still apply).
Level 2 Full Level 2
If you don’t already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, tuition fees will be waived (Registration Fees will still apply).
Level 3 Full Level 3
If you are aged between 19 - 24 and you don’t have a qualification equivalent to 2 A Levels, tuition fees will be waived (Registration Fees will still apply).
Government Funded Government Funded
If you are in receipt of an active benefit, tuition fees will be waived (Registration Fees will still apply). Active benefits are Job Seekers Allowance and Employment Support Allowance (Work Related Activity Group).
Higher Education Higher Education
Financial support could be available through Student Finance Direct
Fees are payable by all students. Discounted fees are not available. No Financial Support

PCDL PCDL
If you are in receipt of an active benefit, tuition fees will be waived (Registration Fees will still apply). Active benefits are Job Seekers Allowance and Employment Support Allowance (Work Related Activity Group). These courses are only available to people aged 19 and over. Students can only study one PCDL course in any given academic year.

 

Support for Students on a Low Income or in Difficult Circumstances

If you find it difficult to pay fees, there may be help from the Student Support Fund for Government supported courses. Please call Student Services to see if you are eligible
