Tameside Enterprise Club

Tameside Enterprise Club

A new enterprise club, where budding entrepreneurs can get business support and advice and build local contacts is being launched in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Tameside Enterprise Club will give people who want to set up their own businesses the chance to share experiences and access professional advice and resources that they might not otherwise be able to afford.  The Club will also assist those people who have just started their own small business. Tameside Centre for Enterprise is a partnership between Tameside Centre for Enterprise, New Charter Homes and Tameside Libraries.

Phil Brown MBE, Chair of Tameside Prosperous Board, said: As Chair of the Tameside Prosperous Board we are committed to developing, supporting and mentoring new business start-ups in Tameside. When you are starting and growing your business, there are always new challenges. From finding the right people to accessing the right type of finance, from breaking into new markets to developing your people and your new ideas, there will be times when you will really want advice, support and information. So here it is’.

The Tameside Enterprise Club will launch on Thursday 24th March 6-8pm and then every last Thursday of the month following at The Tameside Centre for Enterprise. On the evening of the launch guests will be able to listen to business experts for the best advice and support on how to turn business ideas into a successful career. There will also be a chance to tour Tameside Centre for Enterprise and view the impressive training, meeting and conference facilities including the excellent incubation spaces available for rent.  On the evening there will be a free raffle, where two lucky entrepreneurs will receive ‘hot desk’ rental for two months, courtesy of sponsors New Charter Homes. Tameside Enterprise Club will then provide further opportunities to attend free accredited training workshops and seminars on a monthly basis.
