Hospitality students experience the best of the industry

Hospitality and catering students at Tameside College take inspiring trip to the capital to sample best industry has to offer.

Students travelled to London for a three day trip, staying at the 5* Mayfair Townhouse, to visit a variety of luxury venues.

The trip, which took place just before the students completed their qualification, aimed to showcase the roles and opportunities available in the hospitality and catering industry and congratulate them on their graduation.

The visit included: afternoon tea at the five star rated Cliveden House Hotel, a meal and tour at Mayfair Townhouse, a tour of Cadogan Gardens Hotel, a meal at Nipa Thai restaurant in the Royal Lancaster Hotel and a lunch at the prestigious Galvin at Windows Restaurant.

John Holden, hospitality and catering teacher at Tameside College, said: “This was a really good opportunity for our students to explore the best that the industry has to offer and be inspired by the hospitality they received and the employees they met. I wish them all the best of luck in their careers and look forward to hearing how they progress in the future.”
