The course covers the following units:
Management accounting and decision making
The role of Budgeting within management accounting
The control of credit and management of cash resources
You will sit an exam for each of these units and a Synoptic exam that covers the first three units in a case study format. Success in all exams will lead to the award of a qualification enabling you to become a full member of the Association of Accounting Technicians with the designator letters of MAAT after your name, (once your accounting experience portfolio requirements are met).
You will learn through a variety of methods which will aim to meet the needs of each individual and accommodate different learning styles for example, case studies, assessments, practical work, and interactive activities.
You will achieve the qualification which will allow you to progress in your accounting career
Learners must have;
Achieved the AAT Level 3 or equivalent.
Be currently employed in an accounting or finance role or about to enter into such a role
To the ACCA, CIMA or ACA . All these awarding bodies offer entry exemptions for AAT Level 4 qualified.
