Have you ever wanted to recreate those classical or contemporary dishes you have tried on holiday or have always wanted to make?

Well here is your opportunity to gain the knowledge, techniques and tricks of the trade by a trained professional chef.

Special Features:

Access to our online catering resource that offers outstanding educational aspects of catering & bakery at all levels.
Each week you will prepare, cook, finish and present dishes from a chosen country. You will produce a menu in your team and take ownership of an element off the menu with guidance and support from your chef tutor to create a finished menu to be served within the fine dining restaurant.

You will have support of a full restaurant set up, which comprises of;- Restaurant manager, front of house staff, bar staff and kitchen support and of course your Chef tutor.

The restaurant will be open for friends and family for one night only to taste and savour your hard work and fruits of your labour. This will be an educational
A passion for food and enthusiasm. - Dress code- Closed top shoes and clothing suitable for a Kitchen/Bakery. You will be required to bring your own apron.

Tuition fees will be waived if:
(Not in paid employment)
You are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance (Work Related Activity Group) or you are in receipt of Universal Credit.

(In paid employment)
You receive a means tested benefit accepted by the college; are working less than 16 hours per week and have an income of £338 per month (individual claims) or £541 per month (household claims).
You earn less than £16,009.50 annual gross salary
AND the course you are studying will help you find or improve your employment

This also applies to all courses labelled level 1 or 2F.
