In completing you course, you will have the neccessary Health & Safety skills required to work on a building site. The course is made up of a selction of various topics such as:

Unit 2:-Health and welfare

Unit 3:-General safety

Unit 4:-High risk activities

Unit 5:--Environment
During your time on the course you will learn the fundamental Health & Safety knowldge that is required for all participants to work on a construction site.

In our department you be taught be curriculum staff who have vast experince of Health & safety within the industry who will be able to provide practical support and guidance throughout the course. We will demonstrate respect and courtesy to all participants who treated as a young adult and as such your contribution and opinion is listened to.

If you are a Greater Manchester resident, and meet the unemployed criteria, or are employed, including where the low wage flexibility may apply, (or are aged 19-23 and non GM resident) and don’t already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, and you need to study at Entry or Level 1 to progress to Level 2, tuition fees will be waived.
