Creatively Style Hair for Professionals

Develop your styling and dressing hair skills through this 10 week course where you will complete a range of creative hair styles using classic and advanced styling skills. You will develop your blow-dry, setting and long hair up skill using a range of tools and products to complement each look.

This course is delivered and assessed by subject specialist teachers. Units consist of practical workshops and assessments which are carried out in our new, commercial salon
Creatively styling hair offers an exciting and challenging start to a career in the industry, allowing you the flexibility to develop your own unique business as well as future employment.

This course includes practical workshops and some home study to develop the skills you learn in class.
This is an industry refresher course for individuals who have attained a Level 2 or higher in hairdressing and wish to extend their styling knowledge.
You will be assessed by practical assessments and knowledge tests or assignment work.
On successful completion of this qualification you can progress onto:

· Creatively and correctively colour hair.

· Freelance work

If you are aged 19-23, meet the unemployed criteria, or earn less than £19,890 annual gross salary, and already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, tuition fees will be waived.
If you are aged 19-23 and don’t meet the unemployed criteria, and already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, tuition fees are payable.
If you are aged 19-23 and do not already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, full fees are payable.
If you are aged 24+ and meet the unemployed criteria, or earn less than £19,890 annual gross salary, tuition fees will be waived.
If you are aged 24+ and don’t meet the unemployed criteria, or you earn more than £19,890 annual gross salary, tuition fees are payable.
