Job Purpose

To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the company. The post holder will work flexibly within a fast-paced and developing office environment. From time to time, the role may require assisting or providing cover for other administrative staff to ensure the smooth running of the office.


Main Responsibilities

The key duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional manner

  • Maintaining and updating a daily record of site worker locations

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors to the office

  • Scanning purchase invoices and entering them onto the Purchase Register System

  • Updating the in-house Training Log when training is booked or completed

  • General filing and document management

  • Raising and chasing quotes as required

  • Collating relevant paperwork for weekly meetings

  • Supporting with general office duties


Skills Required for This Apprenticeship

  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Previous administrative experience (desirable but not essential)

  • Polite and professional telephone manner

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Level 3

About the Practice
We are a welcoming dental practice based in the Audenshaw area, serving our local community with a strong focus on patient care, safety, and professionalism. We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Dental Nurse Apprentice. You will be supported by an experienced dental team and receive structured training to help you build a long-term career in dental nursing.

The Role
As a Dental Nurse Apprentice, you will support the dentist and wider dental team in providing high-quality patient care. This role combines hands-on experience within the practice with off-the-job training delivered through college, allowing you to develop both practical and theoretical knowledge of dental nursing.


Training & Location

  • Workplace training based at our Audenshaw dental practice

  • One day per week attending Tameside College (Beaufort Road, OL6 6NX)

  • Apprenticeship duration: approximately 18–24 months


Working Hours

  • Minimum of 30 hours per week

  • Potential to work up to 40 hours per week


Pay

  • £6.40 per hour

  • Rate will increase in April in line with National Minimum Wage changes


Entry Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

  • A Grade 3 in either Maths or English may be considered

  • A genuine interest in dentistry and patient care


Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the dentist during a range of dental procedures

  • Preparing, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

  • Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable and at ease

  • Maintaining accurate patient records

  • Managing stock and dental supplies

  • Supporting reception duties, including appointment scheduling

  • Carrying out basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming dental models

  • Providing patients with oral hygiene advice when appropriate

About the Role

Park Cake Bakeries, a leading name in premium cake and dessert manufacturing, is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 2 Food Operative Apprentice.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food production environment while studying towards your qualification with Tameside College.

A work trial will be required prior to starting the apprenticeship.

Duration of Qualification: 12 Months + End Point Assessments


Key Responsibilities

As a Food Operative Apprentice, you will:

  • Prepare, handle, and package food products safely and efficiently.
  • Operate machinery and equipment used in food production.

  • Minimum age: 17 years.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above preferred (not essential).
