Blackpool North West Race Mon, 29 March 2010 Sports Massage students from Tameside College recently attended the Blackpool North West Race to support charity runners before and after their exhausting half a marathon. Despite the challenging weather conditions all the VTCT Level 3 and Level 4 sports massage students attended the event and continued to provide pre and post sports massages for the athletes for over four hours. They managed to complete over 68 massages! Maria Cacia, Sports Massage tutor, has said how impressed she was with the standard of professionalism of the students and how hard they all worked on the day.
