Tameside College Travel Students land airline jobs as they complete their studies.
Toni Griffiths and Charly Slade both completed their Cabin Crew course at Tameside College, all their hard work and dedication has really paid off as they move straight in to full time employment with two of the country’s leading airlines.
Toni will be starting a career working at Manchester airport with the popular airline Jet2. Her role will involve dealing with people travelling throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. This is an excellent opportunity for Toni to gain experience working for one of the most successful airlines in the North of the UK.
Toni said, “I am so excited to be starting my new job, I feel Tameside College has really helped me to succeed”.
Charly will begin her career as a member of cabin crew and will take to the sky with Virgin Atlantic, one of the UK’s leading airlines. Her role will take her all over the world to places such as Beijing, Dubai and Las Vegas.
Charly said, “I’m so glad I came to Tameside College, it helped me get an amazing job with Virgin Atlantic”.
Course tutor, Lesley Slade, said “I am really proud that Toni and Charly have managed to secure employment with leading airlines, especially as we are in such a deep recession where young people in particular are finding it difficult to find jobs”.
