Stephanie’s got Style

Congratulations to Hairdressing student Stephanie Pollard, who made it through to the final stage of the National Francesco Group hairdressing competition.
Entrants had to prepare, design and photograph a hairstyle to enter the competition. The judges then selected only twenty designs out of all of the national entrants to attend the finals.
Former Oasis Academy High School pupil, Stephanie, was selected to attend the finals, held at the Heart of England Conference Centre in Warwickshire.
When asked what inspired her style, Stephanie commented:
“I was inspired the most by the summer seasons colour trends of coppers and reds. Also different sunset colours gave me the image idea. I created a smooth straight finish to highlight the selected colours”.
Entering competitions during your studies is a great way to help improve your skill, gain experience and to meet other students studying on similar courses.
