Tameside College gets the Seal of Approval

Tameside College has been recognised as a specialist centre for vocational training in the latest issue of the leading business magazine KBB, (Kitchens, Bathrooms and Bedrooms).

KBB component supplier TK Components are the main sponsors for the new fitted interiors course at Tameside College, and they have graciously agreed to donate kitchen doors, cabinets and components on a regular basis to aid students in their training exercises.

TK Components managing director, Tom Kelly, said: “We are very much in favour of supporting our local community and raising standards within the industry, we are delighted to take this opportunity to work with Tameside College.”

Aimed at adults who already work in the KBB industry, this one-year course is unique and described as one of a kind in the Tameside area.

College tutor, Dean Donelon, said: “We’re very grateful to TK Components for supplying us with products for training purposes – the course has a hands-on practical approach and students will benefit greatly from the generous donation.”
