Through a mix of face to face, in-class lessons and real-life practice in our state-of-the-art beauty salons, you’ll gain essential skills in services such as manicure, pedicure and facial treatments. Further skill enhancement sessions will also be available, such as last treatments, waxing and make up application.

Throughout the course, you’ll engage in online exams, assignments, and practical assessments, helping you build a solid foundation for a successful career in the beauty industry. You’ll also have access to workshops designed to enhance your skills and knowledge. It is recommended that you carry out a minimum of 8 hours a week home study.

Note: Before starting, you’ll need to purchase a salon uniform and beauty kit, with financial support available for eligible students to help with the costs. Financial support is available to some students to purchase equipment.

Your learning will be assessed through a mix of practical and theoretical methods, including:

The course is graded overall Pass by competing all required units, with each unit being graded Pass, Merit, or Distinction, allowing you to showcase your skills and knowledge.

· Start an Apprenticeship in a Salon to gain hands-on experience.

· Specialise in Nail Technology Level 2.
