Catering and Hospitality students from Tameside College cook up a storm at the Chester Races.

The students worked for 3 days providing their services from 9.30am to 7.30pm, covering three selected chalets, which held up to 30 people in each. The team prepared and served a variety of food and drink to the guests, showing a high level of professionalism and excellent standards of work during the event.

John Holden, Food and Beverage Lecturer said β€œThe students were a credit to the college and have learnt a lot about what it is like to work in a high volume, fast paced environment. They handled the pressure well and the feedback from the customers was excellent.”

Sue Rogan, from guest company Waverley TBS said β€œThe service we received was exemplary, their professionalism was excellent and I was impressed with how attentive they were with our guests and I had many comments on the day about how good the service was.”
