More Funding for Adults Mon, 15 August 2011 A recent announcement by the Government means that fewer Adults will need to pay tuition fees. In the announcement, the Skills Funding Agency opened up eligibility for funding to students on different kinds of benefits. Until now, eligibility was restricted to some students receiving Employment Support Allowance and those on Job Seekers Allowance. These new rules now mean that unemployed learners on Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit, Income Support, Pension Support and all claimants of Employment Support Allowance get their tuition fees fully funded on Government supported courses.
