Tackling Inactivity Project

Tameside Colleges is running a ‘Tackling Inactivity Project’ in conjunction with Sport England which focuses on increasing activity levels of all students.

As figures show that you are less likely to be active if you are studying at college, compared to those studying at schools and universities.

There are currently 300,000 college students aged 16-19 that are currently inactive, with levels of activity declining when students transition from school to colleges. We aim to break this trend and we have lots of activities/opportunities for everyone to get involved in!

Have your Say!

New activities are being planned all the time and you will also have the chance to put across your ideas for new events and activities that you would like to see at the College. Contact us at enrichment@tameside.ac.uk
