Tameside College celebrates launch of T-level week 2026, highlighting achievements of students and the employers who help them prepare for work.

T-level week is a national government initiative, which takes place between 19th and 23rd to highlight the success of the qualification, which offer students a mix of classroom based learning and high quality work experience with employers.

Tameside College now offers an expanded T-level curriculum, in a variety of subjects, from health to digital software development.

Throughout T-level week, the college will be sharing a variety of success stories, case studies, videos and news via its social media channels and website.

One such success story includes T-level health students, who celebrated an outstanding 100% pass rate and 88% high grades in August 2026. Students were delighted with their results and many have now moved into careers or further study in the field.

Across all T-level qualifications nearly 100 work placements have been offered by employers this academic year

Jackie Moores, principal and CEO at Tameside College, said: “T-levels provide students with an excellent opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and practical experience they need to succeed in their chosen careers. We’re proud of the achievements of our students and the progress they are making towards their future goals. I’d also like to thank the employers who support our T-level programmes by offering high quality industry placements, helping students gain valuable real world experience and prepare for their next steps.”
