Mandatory Units x 11 (Diploma and Certificate)

Your Unique Experience at Tameside College will be enriched by way of opportunities to gain relevant e-Learning certificates along with the Paediatric First Aid Certificate all of which will help you to develop a wide range of knowledge and skills relating to your present or future job and career aspirations.
Entry qualifications
Minimum entry age 19
Achievement of NCFE level 2 or NVQ 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Extensive experience of role in schools
Good communication skills are essential
Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths GCSE grade C or above or equivalent
A minimum of 5 hours per week placement in a school of your choice (year 1 and above)
(It is your responsibility to secure a placement prior to enrolling on the course)
An Enhanced DBS form must be completed for Tameside College cost £44.
