Occupational specialism component
● synoptic assignments

Additional placement hours for Early Years Educator

These additional hours are essential to enable you to meet the requirements of the industry and gain sufficient occupational experience to be a competent employee in the early years’ sector.
Your learning experience
Industry placements are intended to provide you with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for skilled employment in your chosen occupation and which are less easily attainable by completing a qualification alone.
As part of achieving the overall T Level programme, you are required to complete a minimum of 750 hours (Early years’ educator) industry placement. In order to demonstrate threshold competence in your chosen occupational specialism, you will be observed during your industry placement.
Entry qualifications
You will be interviewed by the subject teachers to be offered a place on the T Level qualification. You must hold a grade 4 in English & Maths. You must be able fulfil the requirements of the core and chosen occupational specialism and comply with the relevant literacy, numeracy, digital and health and safety aspects of this qualification.
