Your learning experience
Our Level 1 Brickwork course provides learners with a fantastic introduction to bricklaying. Trained and educated by our industry experienced tutors who will develop the key practical skills and knowledge you need to build block, brick and cavity walls. Practical sessions are delivered in our industry inspired workshops which provide an experience similar to a building site.
Entry qualifications
Learners must have:
Successful interview with one of our Brickwork tutors
A genuine interest in the subject
Good communication skills
A hardworking approach towards the industry
How is this course assessed?
Assessment is ongoing throughout the duration of the course. We will ask you to complete practical assessments which are recorded in a work book which includes written tasks in relation to the construction industry Health & Safety and communication.
