Level 1 Painting & Decorating

This programme is the first step to gaining a qualification in Painting and Decorating; This programme is a step to gaining a qualification in the Construction Industry, specifically in the role of a Painter & Decorator.

The course covers the following units:

101 Introduction to health and safety in construction

111 Preparing surfaces for wallpaper and painting.

112 Applying decorative effects

113Applying wallpaper to internal and external angles and painting skirting

Assessment is ongoing throughout the duration of the course. We will ask you to complete practical assessments which are recorded in a work book which includes written tasks in relation to the construction industry Health & Safety and communication.
