Level 3 Beauty Therapy

This is a full time and fast paced study programme which covers a wide range of advanced beauty therapy topics. The units are assessed internally by subject specialist teachers. Most units consist of a mix of theory assessments (exams and assignments) and practical assessments which are carried out in our brand new, high street, commercial salon. A minimum of 8 hours study will be required at home to support your learning.

Some of the topics you will cover over the year include massage, body electricals, facial electricals, hot stones, anatomy and physiology and health and safety. You will also be required to purchase the salon uniform and a kit prior to commencing the course. Financial support is available to some students to purchase equipment.
Beauty Therapy offers an exciting and challenging career in a fast paced industry.

The course includes a variety of practical and theory classes alongside commercial salon sessions on paying clients. You will take part in trips, visits, seminars and competitions alongside your course to further develop your understanding and knowledge of the industry.
Learners should possess Beauty Therapy Level 2. You will have the opportunity to re sit your maths and English if you do not have a grade 4 alongside your qualification
You will be assessed by various methods of assessment including practical assessments, online exams, assignments and written tasks. The course is graded Pass, Merit or Distinction.
On successful completion of this qualification you can progress onto:
