Course content & format
This is a 6-week course where learners will learn to:
● Understand the importance of goal setting.
● Creating action plans to work towards goals.
● Understanding resilience and its importance in achieving goals.
● Explore self-care strategies to enhance resilience.
● Adjust goals and action plans as needed.
● Set new goals and create a plan for continued growth and achievement.
A number of teaching and learning methods will be used, such as group work, small presentations, practice activities and written activities. There will be a small amount of homework where learners will be encouraged to practise techniques that have been learned in class.
Your learning experience
This course will give learners the chance to learn how to set achievable goals and plan how to achieve them. Lessons are delivered in a relaxing environment with the chance to explore different
ways of setting, assessing and achieving goals. Learners will need to complete activities in class and practise them outside of the class, for homework.
At the end of the course, learners will make a personalised plan to use at home.

There are no qualifications needed to enrol on this course.
How is this course assessed?
You will be assessed through a variety of assessment methods including discussions, written work and practical assessments during the class.
What can I do next?
On completion of this course, learners are invited to take other courses, including Maths, English and IT.
