Course content & format

This is a 6-week course where learners will learn to:

●  Explore the impact of belief on mindset and behaviour.

●  Create personalised positive affirmations.

●  Develop strategies to reinforce self-belief in various aspects of life.

●  Identify factors that influence self-esteem.

●  Build resilience and plan how to deal with problematic situations.

●  Develop a long-term plan for sustaining positive beliefs, affirmations, self-belief, and self-esteem.

A number of teaching and learning methods will be used, such as group work, small presentations, practice activities and written activities. There will be a small amount of homework where learners will be encouraged to practise techniques that have been learned in class.

Your learning experience

This course will give learners the chance to improve their self-esteem and confidence. Lessons are delivered in a relaxing environment with the chance to explore different ways to build belief in

themselves. Learners will need to complete activities in class and practise them outside of the class, for homework.

At the end of the course, learners will make a personalised plan to use at home.

How is this course assessed?

You will be assessed through a variety of assessment methods including discussions, written work and practical assessments during the class

On completion of this course, learners are invited to take the next course, which is called Achieve. This next course focuses on how to set achievable goals.
