A newly opened, reputable body shop in Oldham is looking to recruit a motivated and mature Panel Technician Apprentice to join their friendly team. The business operates multiple sites and specialises in car servicing, repairs, MOT, and smart repairs.

What we’re looking for:

• A mature candidate 

• Some previous experience in the industry or relevant college courses is preferred

• Valid driving licence 

• Willingness to learn and work across panel repair and some paint work

• Reliable and motivated with a good work ethic

The Apprenticeship & Job Description:

• Position: Panel Technician Level 3 Apprentice

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (no weekend work)

As part of the apprenticeship, you will develop the key skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified panel technician. This includes:

• Assessing damage and preparing vehicles for repair

• Repairing vehicle body panels using a variety of techniques and tools

• Replacing and aligning body components

• Using specialist equipment to carry out smart repairs

• Understanding and applying health and safety practices

• Gaining experience in basic paint preparation and finishing (non-qualification)

• Working effectively within a workshop environment and communicating with colleagues and customers

This apprenticeship follows the Skills England Level 3 standards, equipping you with both practical skills and theoretical knowledge required by the industry.

DENTAL NURSE Apprenticeship LEVEL 3 STANDARD 

A local Dental Practice  is offering an Apprenticeship In Dental Nursing. located in   Dukinfield Ashton -Under-Lyne. This dental practice has an established reputation and a large client base.

You will need to be able to travel to Dukinfield  and also Tameside College, Beaufort Road, OL66NX. You will spend one day a week in college for the remainder of the week you will gain valuable work experience in the workplace. Hours of work may range from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 40 hours a week.

Candidates must have a 3 or D in maths and English to apply,

Successful candidates will be interviewed by the college then referred to the employer for an interview.

The course is approximately 18-24 months long in duration and you will be completing a Dental Nursing Apprenticeship

Wage is currently £6.40 per hour, rising to £7.55 in April in line with National Minimum Wage.

Duties
 Assist the dentist during dental procedures
 Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
 Take and develop dental X-rays
 Update patient records and maintain dental supplies inventory
 Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
 Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
 Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models

Skills
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
 Ability to work well in a team environment
 Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
 Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems
 Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
 Basic understanding of infection control protocols

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Apprentice Commis Chef to join the kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the hospitality industry while working towards a Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship.

You will gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, develop your skills through college study, and receive ongoing support from your dedicated Skills Assessor, who will observe and guide you in both the workplace and at college.

Duties Will Include (aligned to Level 2 Commis Chef Standard):

• Preparing and cooking a range of dishes using fresh ingredients.

• Assisting with menu preparation and contributing ideas to specials.

• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times.

• Learning and using different cooking methods and techniques.

• Storing, handling, and preparing ingredients correctly.

• Working as part of a busy kitchen team to deliver quality meals on time.

• Assisting with stock control and rotation.

• Following health, safety, and allergen procedures.

• Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in daily service.

About the Role

Park Cake Bakeries, a leading name in premium cake and dessert manufacturing, is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 2 Food Operative Apprentice.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food production environment while studying towards your qualification with Tameside College.

A work trial will be required prior to starting the apprenticeship.

Duration of Qualification: 12 Months + End Point Assessments

Key Responsibilities

As a Food Operative Apprentice, you will:

• Prepare, handle, and package food products safely and efficiently.
