Apprenticeship Standard: Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner
Working Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (including off-the-job training and college attendance)
College Attendance: 1 day per week
Training Provider: Tameside College, T1 Campus, Wellington Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 6BL
Apprenticeship Start Date: October 2026
Duration: 12-month apprenticeship programme plus up to 3 months for End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Future Prospects: Opportunity for permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, subject to performance and business needs.

We are a well-established executive chauffeur company based in Greater Manchester, specialising in corporate travel, airport transfers, and VIP transport services. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional, reliable, and high-quality service to our clients.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our office team with an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Apprentice.
The Role
This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable customer service and administration experience within a busy and professional transport operation.
As a Customer Service / Operations Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the office whilst developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries via telephone, email and booking systems
- Providing excellent customer service to clients at all times
- Managing daily bookings and updating customer information
- Assisting with chauffeur scheduling and transport coordination
- Supporting transport logistics to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and administrative documentation
- Using company systems to process bookings and customer requests
- Working closely with colleagues to support office operations
- Developing professional communication and customer service skills
Working Pattern
- Weekend working required
- Minimum 30 hours per week, including apprenticeship training and college attendance
Apprenticeship Training
Training will be delivered one day per week at Tameside College, T1 Campus, Wellington Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 6BL.

Recruitment Process
The apprenticeship is scheduled to start in October 2026. However, we are recruiting now and would like to interview suitable candidates as early as possible.
Successful applicants may be invited to attend a work trial to gain first-hand experience of the role and demonstrate their suitability for the position.

Entry Requirements
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths is desirable
- Applicants without these qualifications may be required to work towards Functional Skills as part of the apprenticeship
- Must be motivated to learn and committed to completing the apprenticeship
