Each year MAN Energy recruit a number of young people between the ages of 16-21 to join their successful growing Apprenticeship programme.
Apprenticeships are an employment and training initiative that combine paid employment and formal training in a chosen career route. You will build invaluable skills and knowledge on the job and will apply your skills and experience to real-world live projects.
MAN Energy are recruiting at present
X2 Advanced Apprenticeships age 16+ for their Stockport base- £12,500 Year 1 37 hours per week
X2 for their Colchester base - £12,500 Year 1
The successful candidates will work towards a work-based learning qualification such as an NVQ Level 3 and in most cases, a relevant knowledge-based certificate such as a BTEC. To start this programme, we are ideally looking for candidates who have five GCSEs at grade 4 or above (previously grade C and above) or equivalent, including Maths, English and Science.
Who should apply?
MAN Energy are looking for candidates with practical and technical aptitude who can demonstrate an interest in science, engineering or technology and who are interested in a long term career in engineering. You must enjoy problem solving, working with tools and equipment, knowing the way things work the ‘how’ and ‘why’ and working with computers. This is not the job if you are unsure of your career path, only individuals who are dedicated to learning this field are encouraged to apply.

The first year of the Apprentice programme will be mostly full time at a local college and the remaining 3 years will be applying this learning on the job along with day release at College.
