Health and Safety Training with CSCS Test
Course content & format
The course is designed to give students the opportunity to understand the built environment in which they live while gaining the fundamental knowledge and technical skills required in today's construction industry. Upon completing the course, you will have the necessary Health & Safety skills to work on a building site as an operative. The course covers a selection of topics such as
Unit 1:-Legal and management
Unit 2:-Health and welfare
Unit 3:-General safety
Unit 4:-High risk activities
Unit 5:--Environment
Your learning experience
During the course, you will learn the fundamental Health & Safety knowledge required for all participants to work on a construction site as an operative. Our curriculum staff, who have extensive experience in Health & Safety within the industry, will provide support and guidance throughout the course.
Entry qualifications
Being able to read and write in English is essential, but no formal qualifications are required.
How is this course assessed?
The course is assessed through separate online tests for the CSCS and the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety

If you meet the unemployed* criteria or are employed^ where the earnings threshold applies, and you need to study at Entry or Level 1 to progress to Level 2, tuition fees will be waived.
