Level 3 Travel, Tourism and Aviation

This is a full-time study programme consisting of 9 units relating to the travel, tourism and aviation industry. Throughout this programme you will study a range of units that lead to formal and summative assessments. Units of study may include UK travel and tourism industry, customer service, career, worldwide passenger airlines, UK airports, Cabin crew, airport terminal operations, health, safety and security.
You will have the opportunity to attend various trips and visits both overseas and within the UK. You will be assessed in various ways such as written assignments, roleplays. Group activities industry led training. As part of the course, it is an essential requirement for all learners to take part in one week in unpaid work experience within the industry. This will equip learners with key knowledge and understating of the travel and tourism sector.
4 GCSE graded 4 or above must include English and/or Maths
You will be assessed through written reports, presentations, projects and digital media. Throughout the 9 units a range of different assessments will be undertaken.
On successful completion of this programme, you could progress to year 2 of this course, industry or further study.
