Level 2 Travel & Tourism

This course is designed to introduce learners to the travel and tourism industry, customer service operations, destination knowledge, and employability skills linked to careers within the sector. The programme combines classroom-based learning with practical activities, research tasks, and industry-related projects. This is a full-time study programme. Through a range of different assessment methods, underpinning knowledge will be assessed against industry benchmarks to ensure learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to progress into employment or further study.

This is a full time study programme. You will study 8 units which includes Customer service, Travel Agency Operations, Coastal Tourism, Airports and Airlines, UK Travel and Tourism, Tour Guiding , Specialist Tourism and Hospitality.
If you are interested in a career within the travel and tourism industry, whether working in hotels, visitor attractions, events, holiday operations or sustainable tourism, this is the course for you. The travel and tourism industry is a fast-paced and constantly developing sector with opportunities both customer-facing and behind the scenes. You could be helping customers plan holidays, working in hotel management, supporting sustainable tourism initiatives, organising events, working in resorts, or managing visitor experiences and tourism services.
Level 2

- 4 GCSEs grade 3 or above or a vocational qualification level 1 in the chosen subject.

You will be interviewed for this course, should be enthusiastic about working in the travel and tourism industry and able to participate in work experience.
You will be assessed through a variety of assessment methods including discussions, written reports, case studies, roleplays, presentations and projects. This will be both individually and as a group.
On successful completion of this qualification, you can progress onto:

· Level 3 Introductory Diploma in Aviation

· Level 3 Introductory Diploma in Travel and Tourism
