Springboard

The Springboard Programme is a supportive, confidence-building course designed to help students re-engage with education while developing essential life, personal, and employability skills.
This course is designed for learners who are looking for a supportive reintroduction to education while developing confidence, essential life skills, and employability skills for future progression. Learners will work towards Maths and English qualifications alongside a range of personal development and wellbeing activities. Teachers, Youth Worker and Progress Tutors provide consistent support, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where learners can build routine, resilience, and motivation.

Throughout the programme, learners will develop key soft skills including communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving. The course also includes practical, real-life experiences such as budgeting, cooking, teamwork activities, and community-based learning, helping learners develop independence and social confidence. By the end of the programme, learners will have a clearer understanding of their strengths, career interests, and next steps into further education, training, or employment.
You will be interviewed by the subject teachers. You do not need any formal qualifications.
You will be assessed through a variety of assessment methods including discussions, displays, case studies, presentations and written work. All work is assessed internally by the subject teachers. The course is graded pass / fail.
On successful completion of this course you can progress onto:

· Level 1 vocational course

· For students with an EHCP a Supported Internship

· Employment (Entry level roles or volunteering)
